What does the trade mission in Florida consist of ?
A trade mission is a complete program organized over a 3-day period where our team acts as an extension of your international business venture. Participants can experience a complete immersion into Florida’s business world with a group of like-minded entrepreneurs and business development specialists from Canada.
The trade mission guarantees private business meetings with prospects, potential partners or distributors carefully selected to help create concrete deals. Those one-on-one meetings provide our participants with the best opportunities to create meaningful commercial relationships while exploring all the potential Florida has to offer.
Trade missions also offer networking events set to develop your network in Florida by meeting key local strategic contacts.
In addition, information sessions which include a preliminary training day taking place in Canada prior to the mission provide all the required information to expand our members’ enterprises.
Trade missions to Florida take place twice a year in South Florida (Tri-Country area) and once a year in Central Florida.
We also organize group trade missions to selected Canadian cities. We would be delighted to help !

What past participants have to say about our Trade Missions ?
“ I thank the entire CFCC team for the organisation of the April 2014 trade mission and the support they provided us during our stay. We’ve reached our objectives to validate our market analysis and the interest of potential clients. We even met with a potential distributor! The meetings were well targeted and the visits of the 3 counties were relevant to our goals. Special mention for the welcoming feeling of the group activities and meals. ”

“ I participated in the Winter 2014 Trade Mission organized by the Canada/Florida Chamber of Commerce. Here is my perception of the trade mission and the achieved results. First, logistically, it is the best event I ever participated in. The meetings were well coordinated, the choice of the visited areas absolutely perfect and the business partners we met proved to be established internationally.
Considering that our private jet business targets a very selective niche market, we did not expect each meeting to generate immediate results; however, the references and innovative ideas we obtained were extremely helpful. The right Floridian and Canadian government contacts as well as international business experts often require multiple attempts to be reached. Thanks to the CFCC, we directly met with the best resources and can rely on their support ever since. Finally, the relationship with the other participants was so valuable in itself. I highly recommend this annual event ! ”

“ I was extremely satisfied with the March 2016 Trade Mission. The meetings with the economic development specialists of Florida’s different counties (from Miami to Jacksonville) were very impressive, those alone were worth the registration fee. The schedule was organized to the minute and each day was filled with relevant activities. Even if I registered late, I had meetings with our industry’s top professionals. This mission is the best way to launch and develop your business in Florida. ”
